THE LORD DIRECTS OUR STEPS
As we have received life from God, we are to trust Him and follow in His way. At times
we know His way, at other times we do not have a clue. God deals with the heart, our
hearts. I know that it would be nice for things to run smoothly, but that isn't always the
case. This is why we daily submit to God, he can change things to fit his plans, we are to
fit in them, not the other way around. We here talk about plans and having one, doing it,
and seeing God move. Sounds simple, but in reality we find that things change now and
then, which we call transitions. God gave each of us a will to serve Him. We either desire
to do it, or we don't. Everyday is to be lived in God and to be moving by His Spirit, we
cannot live on last weekends victories as we need to move forward in victory today.
When one dwells to long on a past mistake or victory they miss the plan that God has
today. We like to think that what we have done, is great. We want to relish the thoughts
of these things, as they make us feel good. It is not about feelings, as much as it is about
purpose. We are to live our lives with God's purposes in mind. It all stems from the heart.
In Proverbs 16:2, it is written; "All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the
Lord weigheth the spirits. Commit thy works unto the Lord and thy thoughts shall be
established. The Lord hath made all things for himself; yea, even the wicked for the day of
evil. Everyone that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; though hand join in
hand, he shall not be unpunished. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged; and by the fear of
the Lord men depart from evil. When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes even his
enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness, then great revenues
with out right. A man's heart deviseth his way, but the Lord directs his steps." We are
here for God's pleasures not our own. To please God in this life is the ultimate goal. We
gave up our lives and have given them to Him, or so we think we have. God knows us so
well, and we think at times we can avoid Him, as it says, A man's heart devises his way,
but God is the one who determines our steps. We plan, calculate, reason and imagine, but
it is God who is the one that blesses what we desire. Really, there are no mistakes in God,
but wrong directions, and miscalculations. Like not having your compassed set at the right
degrees, we can go way off course and not finish what we start. It happens all the time.
At other times we have to take detour's and change our plans, which of course God
moves us into. That is where are hearts are revealed, it will show if our hearts are proud
or humble. It also will reveal what we call , temper tantrums. That is where iniquity
prevails and where we are purged. God will not have any of our fleshly ways. So we are
humbled and brought into the fear of the Lord,or at least should be.

God gives each of us desires, gifts, talents and when His Spirit comes upon us, we are
awesome in Him! We can never forget that, He is the one that makes it all work. He
knows that each desire to do something wonderful and supernatural, but we cannot
accomplish things on our own will. We fall short and miss it all the time. So now is the
time, to tell God our plans, write them down, and have him bless them. We are called to
occupy till He comes, we are to multiply and replenish the earth. We are to raise up a new
and living generation of priests. All our plans should include God's ways, so He can bring
about His provisions, none of this can happen without His favor. God's favor looks like
you, and it looks like me. He want to get the best out of us, but this can only happen when
we get out of the way. It is about a heart condition, a way of thought and procedure. We
are told too possess the land, but truly the land is us. We are the land, New Jerusalem. We
together come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God. May he have His way today in
us. We are to throw off the weights that so easily take us and hold us captive. There are
no mistakes in God, just new revelations of ourselves. Things may not change around us,
but it is us that really need to change. So we submit today and ask for His blessings and
direction to come upon our hearts. We may then learn to do things a little differently
without as much hassles. God is good all the time, I believe we can agree on that.

"By mercy and truth iniquity is purged..........

No Mistakes in God........

"In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be
chosen than silver! " Some things just produce pride, but it is having God's favor during
times of lack, than one can truly walk in righteousness. He really wants to provide for us
all......so let's let Him, for whatever you need.........but above is what is right and true.
Bless you today!!!
In Covenant Keeping,

Diane
