We thank the Lord for sending His Holy Spirit to us. He is the gift to all who receive
Jesus as Lord and Savior. He is the comforter and breath of God. We ask that God
moves upon this earth and ignites His people to represent Him right now, today! We
can pretty much say, that we need the unction, the anointing which He gives. We are
not to go the way of the world, but to represent God upon this earth. Upon this rock, I
will build my church.....Jesus spoke to Peter. God takes ordinary people and turns
them into extraordinary believers. He pours or fills us with Himself. We lack in this life
and the sooner we realize it, the quicker we can submit to God. Jesus said;
"All that
which the Father gives shall come unto me; and him that comes to me I will in
no wise cast out. For I am come down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but
the will of him that sent me."
He came for us, Jesus accomplished the task set
before him. He overcame all things for us, now we follow in His footsteps and desire to
do the Father's will in our own life. In these last days, the Holy Spirit will quicken us to
the truth, we are to be filled with Spirit, who gives us power and a desire to follow. We
are not to be religious, as that is a form of Godliness, but denying the power. God
moves the same today as he did yesterday. He touches and fills those who desire to
have Him as Lord. He does not leave us empty, but is able to touch and energize us by
His mighty hand. We need that today!!!!! I do believe that like the day of Pentecost,
today can bring the same touch from God. We are to wait upon Him and be endued
with power from on high for all circumstances. His power is revealed by His truth. He
reveals or unveils what is needed for this hour. We must desire to see and know. It is
quite a task to put aside our desires and to ask of Him what He has desired for us. We
sacrifice ourselves and seek Him for His will. For just a moment, just that much time
spent in submission can bring about many answers that we have been seeking for. It is
not hard for the Lord to speak, it is hard for us to listen. This flesh does not receive the
things of the Spirit, it takes waiting on Him and trust. We are to be doers of the Word,
not just hearers. We can spend our time in thought, or spend it in deed. We are to
discern between spirits, there are many today, they are called seducing spirits. Truth
reveals these hidden traps, light is shed and we overcome by the blood of the lamb and
the word of our testimony. There is only one Holy Spirit, which leads us into walking
uprightly. We are to know each other by the fruits of the Spirit, which are mentioned in
Galations. To be led by the Spirit is not to be flattered in this life, but to walk in what
the Holy Spirit has given us.
"For freedom did Christ set us free; stand fast
therefore and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage."

The fruit of the Spirit is freedom:

             Love
             Joy
             Peace
             Long-suffering
             Kindness
             Goodness
             Faithfulness
             Meekness

Self-control, against there is no law.
"And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts
thereof. IF we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk." That is quite a list, we
are to walk in some things that are not desired. Like Long-suffering which probably is
the hardest one to gain. God knows our beginning and our end. Each of us. He
imparted His Spirit to us, to fill us where we need strength, wisdom and victory. We
are to walk in that everyday. This is the hour of submission and seeking. He rewards
those who diligently seek Him. There is freedom in seeking, for it opens us up to His
truth. He desires that no one is deceived. He makes sure of it, by trials and tests. We
are to come forth like gold. Gold shines in the fire, it does not burn up. He is our
consuming fire! It is written that each man must prove his own work, each man shall
bear his own burden. We are to communicate what He speaks and live what He
speaks. We are not to be weary in well doing , for in due season we shall reap a great
reward, if we faint not. The Holy Spirit is given to get us there. He is our helper and
guide. Will we allow Him to guide us today?

When we Sow to the Spirit, We reap eternal life......

What is the Task Set Before You!

It will always involve service to God, and to people. We find out about ourselves when
we are required to serve in this life. It is out of love for God and people, if we do not
love people, then we do not love God. We are mere clanging symbols and just noise.
Love imparts life........it is what we need. He is life and wants to impart Himself to
someone today. Jesus said; "Why do you call me Lord and do not what I say." Holy
Spirit we ask that you lead and guide us today, and that we may impart this life through
our lives. God is building His church upon this earth, and it will be done by His Spirit, if
you do not have a task, you better find out what it is and get one! Of course we say
that in love....but your purpose is your direction. He will bless what you place before
Him, and that is a fact.

In Covenant Keeping,

Diane
