WE ARE CREATED IN HIS IMAGE
The building reflects the builder. God is building His church. If our
foundation is built upon Jesus Christ, we shall not fall. I seek God for
His instructions and desire to build upon that foundation today. He will
build His church and the gates of hell shall not prevail. That is what is
written. Some work is being done at my home at the present time. I
am so thankful that I am not the one doing it. God sends blessings in
the form of people and we are to appreciate the people more than
what they build. In order to do a specific task, one must have the
proper tools to do it. For this one, I do not have these tools. I am most
amazed by this tool that shoots nails. I am so glad that I do not have
to use the thing. I might hurt myself or somebody, now that is a scary
thought. I am sure that I could be trained to use it, but I don't think at
this point that is what God wants me to do. So I am thankful for my
brother-in-law who God sent to me, may he receive favor today.
There are so many tools provided today to accomplish what is needed.
The problem is many have not decided what they want to be when
they grow up. This place is for equipping ministers for the purpose of
being used by God. We prepare the foundation everyday to allow
God's presence to be upon us, as we are to be hidden in Christ. We
are to put on the whole amour of God. When we are in transitions we
are not to forget what we are called to do. At certain times we are
buffeted or jostled as we move in the direction we are called to go.
This is when we are dependant on what God has given us, through
tools, people and faith in Him. We are told to be strong in the Lord
and in the power of His might. The biggest attack I see today, is for
God's people to forget who they are and what they are called to do. If
the enemy can get you to lose your focus, then he might be the one
taking the advantage of moving you far from what you are called to
do. We are to be equipped and to know how to use what God gives
us. There will always be bigger, better and faster ways to do
something, but if one doesn't understand the point of the whole matter
it will profit nothing. We at this point become the tools that God uses
for His purposes. He gives us special abilities to do specific tasks, and
really folks, I am glad about that. I can imagine me with the nail
shooting gun, trying to work it and actually get a nail in correctly. This
morning I would rather put nails in this message to continue to build
for Christ. Now and then I use bullets............they look like these:

*      Be Strong and in the power of His might.
*      Put on the whole amour of God and stand.
*      Once you stand, stand in truth.
*      Put on righteousness to protect your heart.
*      Walk with your feet shod with the gospel of peace.
*      Faith is your shield, it will quench all the darts of the wicked
*      Put on the helmet of salvation to protect your mind.
*      Learn and use the Sword of the Spirit which is His Word.
*      Never stop praying in all things bring your petitions to God.

The focus and direction in which we move in our gifts and His armour
is to the will of God. It is about service and how we will do that in our
lifetime. What are we good at, what do we desire for people to know
about us and God. We are to do good first unto God, then it will be
blessed before men. Many times we have learned about the armour,
but did not understand it is for service. I will put it this way, there has
been a lot of nail shooting and it has been to one another in the body
of Christ. My brother-in-law told me he heard about a guy who
somehow shot his own heart with this gun and lived to tell about it. I
hope you get the picture. For everything that it is worth, it is about
service unto the Lord. We are to love and help, build and encourage
one another in the faith. Not shoot each other with nails.......ouch!
Just as you wouldn't want me using this tool, there are times we need
to learn and be open to what God is doing in this day. We need all the
tools we can get. We hope that you would find them here. That is our
hope and calling.

Are You Moving in What He called You to Be?

It is written; "Make your calling and election sure." I also know that
when we know what each of us are called to do, we might call upon
each other to do that. I am thankful that I have called upon specific
people to pray and seek God, and they have done an awesome job,
without that nothing works. So this morning, back to the drawing
board, ask God to continue drawing and mapping out your life. Ask
God to show you who is among you, so that you can flow in unity
with them and actually build something. Partly I am having a lot of fun
this morning, but mostly we are to learn, grow and continue building
up the body of Christ. I like that! Hey, I am on your side! Have a
blessed day!

In Covenant Keeping,

Diane
