WHY ARE WE HERE?
To Honor God
To Serve God
To Live for God
There is no other reason for man to live upon the face of the earth. We are to take what
he has given us, use it for His purposes and believe that God shows himself through our
lives. There is more to living, than preaching and teaching. In order for one to come to
God, they must hear the gospel and respond, but what happens after? There is more to
life than just getting saved. We have a purpose in this life. We are not just here taking up
space, waiting for the glory bells to ring, or for Jesus to come and get us out of here.
God desires to use us, in our gifts, talents and callings. No plan, no focus. God's people
can be found in every occupation and places. We are to demonstrate His Spirit where we
are. Probably one of the greatest things I do see, is for one to accomplish something with
their life. We are to be open to what God may want to do with us, and to recognize that
He has given us special abilities to accomplish what we desire to do. So we must have a
plan. We talk about ministry plans here, but there is more than that if we are to see that
we are to occupy this earth. For those seeking ministry this is a good place to come. For
those seeking to be a Doctor or anything else, you would seek the places that equip you
for such a task. We are to seek God and let Him lead us to where we should be. It starts
when you are young. We may be gifted in many areas, but in order to see a life filled to
completion, we are to understand that it is God who have given us these gifts. Many
today have no focus or plan, they really do not know why they are here. Many of our
youth are hopeless and have no direction, we must pray and be available for them. How
many can raise their hand and say; Yes, it would have been nice to have had a mentor
while we were young. Fact is, there were not many. Having hopes and dreams of our
future is what makes us want to live. Without that, we lose our way. In Jeremiah 29: 11 it
reads, For I know the plans I have for you, "Declares the Lord" plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This hope and future can only be
found though Jesus Christ for the plan starts from birth and never finishes till we are with
our Lord. We are to continually seek God, and to be what he has called us to be. It is the
enemy's plan to make one wander in the desert for their whole life. Quite frankly those
who do not stay with God will end up wandering for the rest of their days. We are to let
people know, there is always Hope in God, no matter what age. Only He knows about us,
what we have been placed here to do, and those who had no hope now have one. It is
God's miraculous power that can change the hopeless and give them a hope. It can only
be found in God and by serving Him.
We all have hopes and dreams. Together we are to encourage each other in these.
Whatever it is......we are to be open as God is not about boring, heaven knows and all
who know Him, he is not boring, thank God!!!!! We can accomplish whatever it is that
we desire to do, but what happens when we run out of steam or become weary. We look
to God and understand that He is the author and finisher of our faith. God has plans for
us. It is for us to prosper in body, soul and spirit. He does not want to harm us, His plans
are to give us a hope and a future, the future in God looks really good. He is our Covenant
Provider, He desires to bless us. It is about His great love for all. We are to trust God and
understand that he has made us in His image. From the beginning to the end, we are being
changed by His hand. With age comes wisdom, with wisdom comes trust. If something
isn't working out for the moment, wisdom says, "Don't quit, but learn to let God work
out the processes." Many jump ship to quickly and constantly start things only to leave
them undone. Broken marriages, homes, jobs, friendships, on and on it goes. It is the
work of the devil to destroy everything that pertains to those who are in Christ and those
lost to the world. God does see and knows all this as He is not blind. Many prayers are
sent and He is moving upon them, we are to trust that He hears and will lead all who have
gone astray. So, the question is, what do you want to be and do for God. What has he
given you in the gifts, talents, and callings. We are to make them sure. We are to know
and to be lead by what He has placed within us. It is not that big a mystery, what do you
like to do, and how will you serve God with what you do. Write it down today. What is
the goal this week, year, future. How does it apply and how will you use what you have
to accomplish it . Many times we are fitted to someone else's vision, this is not a good
thing, for you are not gifted for their vision. It must be your own, and together we make
up the whole plan of God. Write the vision down, make it plain. Ask God to bless your
plans, bring them before Him and those who will pray with you. How important is it to
write it down? Very! For if you do not, during times of stress, and losing focus, you will
have the plan like an anchor and it will be what you will hold on to. Doing it correctly will
produce great faith and trust. If you fail to write it down, you will forget about it and drift
on in this life. How many times should one try to get it right? Their whole lifetime. Every
little step and goal accomplished for God will produce a foundation stone in your life. For
if you bring your plans to God, most likely He knows about them and has been trying to
move your stubborn carcass there. Forgive my words here, but we are our worst enemy
when it comes to ourselves. So this morning evaluate where you are in this life, ask
yourself is there something more I can do or learn. For it is in the learning that you seek
God for the answers......We are hear to learn, grow and be a mighty demonstration of
who He is.......Bless you today!
For I know the plans I have for you......declares the Lord!
Don't Envy Sinners!
It is written; "Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the
Lord. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off." Taste and
see that our Lord is good! Father we come to you today and ask that you stir up the
vision in your people. What on earth are we doing for heaven's sake? Really! Refresh all
who read today and lead them into prospering in spirit, soul and body. Your promise says,
"Our latter days shall be greater than our former." Keep all focused and in demonstrating
your goodness on this earth. Amen.
